Textiling the Great War
We will be running a series of workshops with artist, Georgette Marshall, at her sewing studio at the Workhouse, Llanfyllin.
The workshops are open to all and we are hoping to explore some stories from World War One, so if you want to bring along a story, photographs or other memorabilia with you, please do! From these stories we will create a textile banner that depicts the Great War and what happened in Llanfyllin.
The workshops will run on Tuesdays 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th September and 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th October from 6.30 – 8.30pm.
