Thomas (Tom) Paddon sadly deceased
It is with much sadness that I have to announce Tom’s recent peaceful death at the age of 79. Tom moved to Wales more than 25 years ago upon retirement and was a great supporter of all things Welsh. For the last 20 years he lived in Penybont where he enjoyed painting water colours of the magnificent local scenery. Tom was a great supporter of Dolen Ffermio and other local charities such as the Wales Air Ambulance. A former pilot who served in the RAF before moving to Civil Aviation, he was a stickler for doing things right, whererver he has landed now, his family are sure that he has got everyone organised and on their toes. Tom will be buried in a simple woodland ceremony in Norfolk where he had recently moved to in order to be close to his Daughter. As his Son in Law, I can only say that I will miss him, he was a very decent and good bloke !
