St Myllin’s Church is working with Arts Connection on a WWI exhibition. Don’t miss the official opening event on the 15th of October.
There was a great response to the WWI Coffee morning on Saturday 13th Sep, with many people bringing along photos, medals, letters and other memorabilia which will be used in the exhibition. The organisers are still looking for more though, both about people who served in WWI and also of local life during that time, to get a picture of Llanfyllin during the years of the Great War.
They would also like to get a photo of each of the people named of the memorial in Llanfyllin and of those who served in WWI. If you have anything to contribute Arts Connection would love to hear from you. Please visit the Arts Connection office in the Youth & Community Centre where they scan any of your WWI memorabilia by the 12th October.
