Just a little more on what is happening at the St. Myllin’s Days on Saturday & Sunday 15th & 16th June in Llanfyllin.
On Saturday a free brunch will be served on the town square from 11am. All welcome! Whilst you eat and drink you can browse stalls by local organisations with information, badge making, strawberries, plants, books and some good bargains of the secondhand kind. To view the festivities from up above you can go on a tour of St. Myllin’s Church and tower.
Across the street the Danby family are kindly opening up their house so you can view the prisoner of war paintings (from 11am to 1pm). At 2pm attention shifts to the Wetlands for a duck race organised by the Friends of Llanfyllin High School.
On Sunday there is a joint Celebration service for St. Myllin with a special appearance of the Zambian Chililabombwe Choir. The service starts at 10.30 in St. Myllin’s Church. A treasure hunt takes off at 11.30 from the same location. Again, all welcome!
All this is organised by Llanfyllin Society with help from Arts Connection, St. Myllin’s Church and Llanfyllin Community Church; funded by Llanfyllin Town Council. You can contact the organisers, Marinke, Siân and Hermione via firstname.lastname@example.org
