The Llanfyllin Annual Photography Competition Awards for the Annual Llanfyllin Photography Competition, organised by Arts Connection and Llanfyllin Civic Society, took place at the Cain Valley Hotel on Friday November 13th 2015.
This was the 9th year of the event and as usual there were a large number of entries and some outstanding photographs on the themes of CALM, WILD and DECAY.
One especially enjoyable part of the occasion was the photographers talking about their photos and the judges explaining their selections and making suggestions about photographic technique.
Thanks were given to Mark and Linda Rosser for providing the exhibition venue; the judges Ray Hall, Jennie Hall and Iris Gordijn; to Nina Wehling and Sian Walters from Arts Connection and to Llanfyllin Civic Society for sponsoring the event.
The exhibition can be seen for the next few months at the Llanfyllin Youth & Community Centre. Congratulations and thanks to all our photographers for making this such a great annual community event.
