As a celebrant I am in a strange and privileged position. At a time when words are most difficult for the family, the Celebrant is your voice. Every life, whether short or long, leaves something to be celebrated. At a time that is most difficult for a family, I can offer the security and inspiration of beautiful, heartfelt words, and a personalized tribute service. A Funeral Celebrant is a trained, caring professional who meets with the family at their time of loss – listening to the stories, gathering remembrances, and creating a unique personal ceremony to honour and celebrate the life of their loved one – bringing comfort to family and friends as they start the healing process.
When the stories live, a life is never gone.
Celebrants set a special meeting time for the family and close friends to share memories, anecdotes, and work closely together to create a special service that truly honours the loss, celebrates the life, and reflects the wishes of the family.
Alternative options are available for families not affiliated with a church, or for those who do not wish to have a traditional religious funeral service. I usually work in conjunction with the family to provide a personalized eulogy. I take time and care to listen to how you want to say goodbye.
The Celebrant structures a tribute that provides a safe environment for people to mourn, while conducting the ceremony, incorporating requested readings, sharing the life of the person, and lending support to family and friends who wish to participate. I work alongside funeral directors, crematorium staff and burial grounds. If you would like to discuss anything, please call me on 01691 860283 or visit my website on www.julimoran.com/funerals
