EDIT 08/03/15: It looks like many of us are having problems with patchy or no signal – EE tech support suggests turning your mobile off for ten minutes and restarting the phone. If you’ve tried that and still have no signal, please contact EE in the following ways…

Work has been carried out on the Llanfyllin Allt-Y-Gadair transmitter and we have now been upgraded to a 4G signal in the town.
Previously the transmitter was GSM/GPRS, but the upgrade to 3G means faster speeds from 384kbps up to 7.2Mbps, and 4G is much faster still. Users in Llanfyllin have reported download speeds of 40Mbps on 4G.
If you have an account with EE you should be seeing 3G or 4G on your phone. T-mobile / Orange users may see 3G only depending on your contract and phone.
If you’re not seeing 3G or 4G try restarting your phone or resetting network settings (this may remove WiFi passwords, so you’ll need to re-enter those).
In the High Street the signal seems to be a bit patchier that before with some phones getting a weaker signal, but we’re told the network may take a few days to optimise. Let us know in the comments where you are and whether you’re getting a good signal or not.
